Ann Neumann

Ann Neumann is a visiting scholar at The Center for Religion and Media at New York University. She writes the column "The Patient Body," about the intersection of religion and medicine, for the Center's publication, The Revealer, where she's a contributing editor. She's written for The New York Times, The Baffler, Harvard Divinity Bulletin, The San Francisco Chronicle, New York Law Review, The Daily Beast, The Guardian and Guernica magazine, where she's also a contributing nonfiction editor. Her book, The Good Death: An Exploration of Dying in America, was published by Beacon Press in February 2016.
