You can make a tax-deductible donation to the Seat Them Safely campaign that will be matched by the BHHS Legacy Foundation of Phoenix.

As a part of this campaign, Legacy Foundation will match up to $50,000 in community donations to Legacy Connection to support purchase of car safety seats and training associated with the campaign.

To support the effort, visit bhhslegacy.org/contribute/donate-now. Look for the “Donation Type” dropdown and select the Seat Them Safely campaign. Or you can mail a contribution to: BHHS Legacy Foundation, 360 E. Coronado Road, Suite 100, Phoenix, AZ, 85004. Make checks out to Legacy Connection.

If your children have outgrown their car seats, you can also donate them.

It is not legal to resell used seats in Arizona but your seat can help save some other child’s life. For several years, the Phoenix and Rio Rico Fire Departments have collected and refurbished used seats and delivered them to child-safety organizations in Sonora, Mexico.

Seat Them Safely, a partnership of Phoenix-based organizations (including The Arizona Republic), is collecting used car seats for this program. Please call 602-495-KIDS (5437) to arrange to donate your used seat.
