Aviril (Apple) Sepulveda

Occupational Therapist

Aviril (Apple) Sepulveda, OTD, OTR/L, BCP, SCFES is a board-certified pediatric occupational therapist with over 18 years of experience in the field. She completed a clinical doctoral degree in occupational therapy from the USC Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy. Her areas of expertise include occupational therapy infant development interventions and feeding, pediatric feeding and swallowing in medically complex children, sensory processing, lactation support, modified barium swallows, and maternal and infant mental health. Apple recognizes the value of mental health in fostering families, through maternal-infant mental health advocacy and program development. She is on the Board of Directors of 2020 Mom, a national non-profit that bridges the gaps in maternal mental health through collaboration, education, and advocacy. She is also a fellow of the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program. The project involves working on decreasing mental health stigma in immigrant Filipino families through community-partnered participatory research.
