I was born in Colombia to a family of journalists and lawyers, thus asking questions, fighting for the underserved, being the voice of the vulnerable, is not only my passion but it is also in my blood. For the past 25 years it’s been my honor, as a journalist, to cover the Hispanic community of the United States. As a general assignment reporter I have traveled all over the country covering politics, natural disasters, terrorist attacks, and, most important to our viewers finance and health stories that directly affect their well-being. Immigrant families have opened their homes and their hearts to me, making many of their victories and struggles my own. The privilege of their trust has become my responsibility.
