I am most interested in urban health issues, particularly in the intersection of poverty, race, culture and well-being. I have written extensively about infant mortality, aging, child welfare and violence. I graduated from the Law School at the University of North Carolina -- Chapel Hill. I live in Milwaukee and have three children.
