Julio Vaqueiro is a Mexican Journalist. He’s the anchor of Telemundo’s morning news show in Los Angeles. He also collaborates with MSNBC, covering news on the Latino community, migration and Mexico. In addition, Vaqueiro also writes a weekly article for Mexico’s El Universal newspaper website, one of the most influential in Latin America. Throughout his career, Vaqueiro has covered major news events including the Mexican Drug War, Hugo Chavez’s illness, Mexico’s Presidential Elections on 2012, Pope’s visit to Mexico and the London Olympic Games, among others. Two times Emmy and one time Golden Mike nominee, Julio Vaqueiro has a BSBM Bachelors in Communications from Anahuac University in Mexico City.
