Nancy Chang

Nurse Practitioner

Nancy Chang is the lead clinical research nurse and coordinator for the TODAY2 study (Treatment Options for Type 2 Diabetes in Adolescents and Youth). Nancy’s research focuses on understanding the barriers to self-management adherence in the treatment of adolescents and young adults with type 2 diabetes. She is the principal investigator on a study to understand and overcome these barriers as well as a study focused on utilizing insulin pump therapy to improve control in type 2 diabetes. Nancy received her Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialty as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is a PhD candidate at the UCLA School of Nursing. She is the recipient of a fellowship award from the Ruth L. Kirschestein National Research Service Award (NRSA) from the National Institute of Nursing Research.
