Paul Kleyman directs the Ethnic Elders Newsbeat at New America Media in San Francisco. Until 2009 he spent 20 years as editor of Aging Today, the newspaper of the American Society on Aging. He is also national coordinator of the Journalists Network on Generations and edits it's e-news, Generations Beat Online. His book, Senior Power: Growing Old Rebelliously (1974) was among the first trade press titles on this subject. Kleyman is the recipient of the Society of Professional Journalists, Northern California, 2009 Distinguished Service to Journalism Award.
